  I was in a very bad car accident. Was sitting at a stop light on a Monday morning when a car slammed me going 55 mph. I was referred to Dr.Ferral for spine issues. My first visit he was mostly with the nurse and he popped his head in and said you'll get some MrIs and I'll see you aftet and then left. It felt as if he was being rude but I figured maybe he was busy. So afterwards I called to get a doctor's note for work because I'm walker bound and sitting in the chairs at my office and standing makes my injuries so much worst. Dr. Farrel refused to give me a doctor's note because he said I'm not in enough pain. Note that he never examined me and had no results yet for what was causing my pain. I begged and pleaded that I can not work under these condtions I'm in and he said its not going to happen. My primary care doctor did not want to fill any more medications for me since I was seeing a specialist. So I then asked Dr.Farrel if he could fill my flexril and lidocaine patches and again refused to do so. So I was forced to go to work in pain and due to my limit ability I still tried to work the best I could. That day I was fored from my job I was at for years. I wemt back to Dr.Farrels office on 10/31/2017 so we could discuss my MRI scans. I didn't make him aware but I had actually viewd my results beforehand and saw a lot of injuries wrong with disc and muscles in my back. So he comes in for all of 2 mins saying nothing ia wrong your scans are clear. I became very frustrated at this point. Still biting my tounge I assum he saw it on my face that I was frustrated. He said "what, do you want something wrong, you want to hear you need surgery, were you wanting to be more injured"(All said in a very rude and snarky tone) I said no sir clearly I'm happy that I don't need surgery, but I'm not happy with not having answers for what causes me so much pain that I'm 25 amd have to use a walker to get around and that I am not happy because of you i lost my job for me because you didn't want to supply me with a dr note for work and that actually I viewed my scans and they are not clear. He began to say well you can take it how ypu want it but I'm a doctor and I know. I started to explain what the MRIs showed and he said well yes thise are injuries you have but they are not very severe, just mild servere. He said nobody said you had to come to me for your specialist. I tild him I didn't have a choise I was referred and honestly didn't think a doctor seeing the trama I went through and the suffering I'm living with on a daily basis would treat me like this. He then states that he challennges me to find someone else that would take the time of day to deal with this.... I'm so mind blown by my experience with this doctor. Needless to say I will be getting a second opinion. And highly recommend if you see his name as your specialist request someone different.
